Earlier today, I delivered a short lecture, If Music Be The Food Of Life, Love, And Career, as part of an afternoon performance by Adelaide-based singer and cabaret artist, Alexandra Frost.
The brief was to discern lessons for life, love, and career, from the music of jazz, blues, and soul, when viewed through the lens of MBA Thinking.
I wrote this as a way of introducing “MBA Thinking” to an audience gathered simply for the aural pleasures of life.
Songs referenced in the talk are:
- Heard It On The Grapevine, Marvin Gaye
- The Thrill Has Gone, BB King
- Heebie Jeebies, Louis Armstrong
